		<description>Hey, thanks for the analysis and thoughtful commentary!  I agree completely with your points about downshifting from the 80 hour to the 40 hour job - you have time to shop, do some routine tasks yourself and overall save more money than you lose in downshifting in the first place.

But definitely the key point is making that spare time work for you - in a positive, fun way.  I enjoy having that extra time at home to work on blogging or other side projects instead of hammering away at a salary position.
